Shared Hosting
The scan is explicitly optimised for shared hosting environments. No root privileges, SSH access, or cron jobs are required. Resource usage is limited by a staggered time budget, ensuring reliable scanning even for large shops without triggering PHP timeouts.
Compatibility
The plugin has been tested on:
- JTL-Shop 5.3, 5.4
- PHP 8.1, 8.2, 8.3
- Apache 2.4 and nginx (typical shared hosting)
Note
The plugin requires an outbound connection to EcomSec licence servers at runtime to verify the free licence. The only data transmitted is your shop domain and the plugin version number.
