Quick Start

Your first scan in 3 minutes.

Step 1: Open the Plugin

Navigate to Plugins → EcomSec Security Scan in your JTL-Shop backend. You will see three tabs: Security Scan, Shop Integrity, and Recommendations.

Step 2: Start the Scan

Switch to the Security Scan tab and click Start Scan.

The reference date 17.06.2026 is pre-set — this is the date of the official JTL security advisory for CVE-2026-54390. You can adjust the date if needed.

The scan typically completes in under one minute.

Step 3: Review Results

After the scan completes:

• Red banner → Critical findings detected. Act immediately.
• Yellow banner → Warnings present. Review recommended soon.
• Green banner → No critical findings.

Then switch to the Shop Integrity and Recommendations tabs to complete the full assessment.

Run the scan weekly as a routine check. Always run a scan after plugin updates or JTL-Shop version upgrades.
